Hi and welcome to my website. I am Jacki Welch and I became a full-time artist in 2021. I was born and raised in England where I did a range of office jobs until in 2007 I decided I wanted to go and see friends that lived in New Zealand and South Africa. Before I knew it, I was taking a career break from my job in banking and off on a yearlong adventure.

Whilst in New Zealand I travelled by bus and soon decided I wanted to be a Tour Bus Driver (a natural progression from banking). I was lucky enough to be sponsored to drive a backpacker bus around the country and I never did go back to that job in banking. It was whilst working as a Tour Bus Driver that I met my partner, Greg (a fellow driver) and as a result I made my home in New Zealand.

New Zealand is a beautiful country and if you have never visited, I would recommend putting it on your bucket list. It is honestly worth the long flight.

I would like to share my journey with you so please follow me if you would like to find our more about my story and my art. I plan to do a monthly blog on this website, and you can also find me on Facebook and Instagram under JackiWelchArt.
